Przemyśl - Poland border with Ukraine needs vans to transport mothers and children
The small town of Przemyśl (60,000 citizens) has processed well over three MILLION refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine in the last year. The city operates refugee centers, facilitating transport on a free train to Hanover, Germany, for those wanting to go farther. The number of first-time refugees crossing the border is growing again. We have had volunteers working alongside the city, other NGO,s and church volunteers and see this as the greatest need right now - two vans to transport women and children. They are trying to move refugees from the border to the center, from the train station to the center, and to move supplies between facilities. There are approximately 300 refugees per day at the Refugee Center.
